The Gwynedd and Eryri Sustainable Visitor Economy 2035 Strategic Plan has been adopted with the following vision and principles:
A Visitor Economy for the benefit and wellbeing of the People, Environment, Language and Culture of Gwynedd and Eryri”

- Ensure that the advantages to Gwynedd and Eryri’s communities outweigh any disadvantages

Since the adoption of the Strategic Plan by Cyngor and Eryri National Park in February 2023, the following have taken place:
- The Gwynedd and Eryri Strategic Plan 2035 was launched at Plas Tan y Bwlch, Maentwrog on September 25, 2023.
- Discussions have continued with Conwy County Borough Council regarding its role in the Plan for rural areas of Conwy that are part of Eryri National Park.
- An agreement to commit to the partnership will be signed with a memorandum of understanding between the 3 public sector partners.
- Work has been ongoing to develop a new partnership structure in order to develop an Action Plan and to monitor the delivery of work and outputs.
