Transfer from Infant to Junior school

If your child is about to to leave Infant school (Ysgol Morfa Nefyn or Ysgol Abercaseg), you’ll need to apply for a place in year 3 or 4 at another school.

You must apply before 1 February 2024 (for September 2024).  

Before you apply, please:

• read the Information for Parents Handbook/School Admissions Policy
• understand that making an application does not guarantee admission to any school.

What will happen next?

You will be notified about the outcome of your application on 16 April.

Late applications

You need to apply before 1 February 2024 (for September 2024). If the application is received after this date it will be considered as a late entry and it's possible that you won't be informed about the decision on 16 April.
