On 24 June 2023, and to celebrate LGBT+ Pride month, the theatre company Queer Tales from Wales will present a playful performance about the life and love of the ladies of Llangollen in Storiel, Bangor.
Queer Tales from Wales is a micro theatre company near Machynlleth which is led by Jane Hoy. Jane investigated stories about real and legendary figures from Welsh history, and turns these stories into lively scripts that she performs with her partner Helen Sandler - often with the opportunity for the audience to participate.
The performance of “An Extraordinary Female Affection: The Life and Love of the Ladies of Llangollen” will be held on 24 June 2023 in Storiel and starts at 3pm.
