On 6 April 2024 a new workplace recycling law came into effect.
It means that all workplaces such as businesses, public sector, and charities will need to sort their recyclable materials before they are collected.

If you’re holding a public event you have a legal duty (Duty of Care (opens in new tab)) to deal with any extra general waste and recycling or litter that may be created in the area.
