On 6 April 2024, a new workplace recycling law came into effect.
It means that all workplaces such as businesses, public sector, and charities will need to sort their recyclable materials before they are collected.

If you run a business or hold a public event you have a legal duty (Duty of Care (opens in new tab)) to dispose of any waste and recycling material responsibly by consigning it to a licensed trade waste haulier.
