Seasonal Beach Parking Morfa Bychan (Black Rock Sands) and Machroes

Morfa Bychan

Vehicles can access the beach foreshore at Morfa Bychan. A fee is payable between 1 April and 30 September. There is an option to buy a daily ticket or a season permit.

Day ticket - Morfa Bychan 

Please pay at beach entrance. Card payment only. Half price entry all day for blue badge holders, and for all vehicles after 4pm.

Season permit – Morfa Bychan

Seasonal permits can only be purchased online:  

  • Permanent Porthmadog ward residents- Car: £32 / Large vehicle: £63
  • Permanent Gwynedd residents- Car: £70 / Large vehicle: £140
  • Non-Gwynedd residents- Car: £90 / Large vehicle: £180

There is a ‘pay and display’ car park at Machroes beach.
