What will happen next?

Your responses will help us to design the Gwynedd Local Development Plan. Statutory consultation periods will follow throughout the process of preparing the Plan.

Following its adoption, the Plan will inform decisions on development proposals as well as addressing the needs and opportunities of the area. The main purpose of the Local Development Plan is to provide guidance on the types of development that is suitable in different locations.

In the meantime, and until the Gwynedd local Development Plan is adopted, the Anglesey and Gwynedd Joint Local Development Plan will continue to provide the local policy framework for decisions on planning applications in the Gwynedd Local Planning Authority area.
