Covid-19 Impact on Private Renters

Private tenants can have their say about how Covid-19 is affecting their tenancy

One in five households in North Wales are occupied by private tenants. The coronavirus and lockdowns have impacted all of us. For private tenants, the impact may have resulted in hardship and an increased risk of homelessness.

To help local councils plan for the delivery of services into 2021 private tenants were invited to complete a short questionnaire and share their experiences. Created in partnership with TPAS Cymru - the tenant participation service - the questionnaire also provided them with information and where to go for advice or help. They were also given the opportunity to sign up to Tenant Pulse – the voice of tenants in Wales. More information about Tenant Pulse available here. Everyone signing up for Tenant Pulse has the chance of winning £150 shopping vouchers.

The consultation closed on 30 December 2020.

The results of the consultation will be available soon.
