Allotments Grant
Cyngor Gwynedd on behalf of the Welsh Government, invites community groups, allotment associations and local organisations to submit an Expression of Interest for the Allotment Support Fund 26/27.
The aim of this fund is to strengthen local food growing, improve community wellbeing and expand green spaces across the county.
Projects must be completed by 19th February 2027
What type of projects are eligible?
We invite applications for grant funding towards allotment projects that meet the priority of:
- creating new allotment(s)
or
- bringing old allotment(s) back into use
It will also be possible to apply for funding towards one or more of the following:
- Improving access to allotments
- Improving facilities and services on allotments
- Improving allotment site security
- Improving recycling on allotments
- Improving biodiversity on allotments
- Promoting and raising awareness of Allotments
Eligible expenditure may include (but is not limited to):
- Construction work and land preparation
- Large equipment such as sheds, greenhouses, polytunnels, storage units, water collectors
- Building materials / fencing / gates / signage
How much?
There is no maximum grant amount, but the fund’s priorities will be taken into account when selecting successful projects and elements.
Who can apply?
Applications are invited from community groups, charities, community and town councils, and voluntary organisations.

- Send the form alongside other relevant documentation to Cefnogicymunedau@gwynedd.llyw.cymru
Closing date: 20 March, 2026
The project must be completed by February 27th, 2026.
