Local Growth Fund Privacy Notice
The aim of the Fund is to support productivity growth and tackle issues leading to economic inequalities across Wales.
The fund focuses on three main priorities:
- Priority 1: More productive and competitive businesses
- Priority 2: Increasing skills and supporting people into work
- Priority 3: Improving regional infrastructure
Why we need your information
The Council will use your information to assess your application for a Local Growth Fund (LGF).
The Council will also use the information you provide in administering the LGF programme and to monitor and evaluate the project/programme.
Justification for using your information
The Council will use your information for decision making, this will decide whether or not your grant application will be successful. The Council will also use your information while the project is being implemented, in order to administer, monitor and evaluate the progress of your project.
We will rely on the following lawful basis:
- Our public task under Article 6 (1) (e) UK GDPR to process the personal information in your LGF Grant Application.
- Your consent under Article 9(2)(a) UK GDPR for any special category information.
In the event of suspected fraud or criminality, including false representation, we will reserve the right to take action under the Fraud Act 2006.
Who else will receive your information
We'll share the information with organizations below:
- Welsh Government
- Other Local Authorities within North Wales
- Corporate Joint Committee North Wales
- 3rd Sector Organisations and any other relevant organisations
Any information is shared on a need-to-know basis only, with the appropriate individuals and with the minimum amount of information for the purpose.
We will not transfer your information to another country
How long we will keep your information
We will retain your information for a period of 10 years following the last payment of the grant.
