Unit 14 Glynllifon

Intention 

Applications are invited by businesses or individuals interested in developing or establishing a craft business at Glynllifon Workshops.

 

Location 

The Park is located on the A499 between Caernarfon and Pwllheli.

 

Background 

The stables and the house on the Glynllifon Estate were completely rebuilt between 1836-49, and the West wing of the present mansion was built.  Gwynedd Council bought the Workshops from the Lord Newborough in1987.

Today the workshops are craft units, along with a shop, gallery, cafe and approximately 60 acres of parkland, form Glynllifon Country Park.

Parc Glynllifon is managed by Gwynedd Council in association with the Countryside Council for Wales, Cadw and Welsh Historic Gardens.  The mansion is in private ownership.
