What is the background?

Always Aim High Events, founded in 2010, is a local business that organises and promotes outdoor sporting events in Gwynedd. The events attract a community of amateur and professional athletes from far and wide and contribute significantly to the local tourism industry.

 

What was the support?

The company was eager to have a new events hub which would include offices, a warehouse and a community room. With investment from the fund a new headquarters was built for the company on the Glyn Rhonwy Industrial Estate. Work began in September 2024 and the company moved into its new headquarters in March 2025.

 

What difference has this made?

The new hub called ‘Camu i’r Copa’ – will be the focal point of the company's activities, offering a meeting room and storage space for the community to use.​

90% of the project's budget was spent locally, showcasing the region's rich talent and resources.  As the company looks forward to the upcoming season, the new office is a testament to local collaboration and the power of investment in the community.

Because of the development the company will be able to continue to play an important part of the tourism and outdoor sports economy in the area.
