Charging points are operational in the following locations (using an app only at this stage):

  • Intec on Parc Menai, Bangor, LL57 4FG (4 charging points 7kW )
  • Sgwâr Kyffin carpark, Bangor, LL57 1LA (2 charging points 50kW)
  • Canolfan Byw'n Iach Penllyn, Bala, LL23 7YE (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Canolfan Byw'n Iach Glan Wnion, Dolgellau, LL40 1LH (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Canolfan Byw’n Iach Dwyfor, Pwllheli, LL53 5PF (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Parcio Bron y Graig Uchaf carpark, Harlech, LL46 2SR (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Penmount carpark, Pwllheli, LL53 5HU (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Canolfan Byw’n Iach, Caernarfon, LL55 1DU (1 charging point 22kW; 1 charging point 50kW)
  • Shell carpark, Caernarfon, LL55 1SQ (6 charging points 7kW, 3 charging points 50kW or 22kW)
  • Canolfan Byw’n Iach Plas Ffrancon, Bethesda, LL57 3DT (1 charging point 22kW, 1 charging point 50kW)
  • Prif Faes Parcio carpark, Aberdyfi, LL35 0EE (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Canolfan Byw’n Iach Bro Dysynni, Tywyn, LL36 9AE (4 charging points 7kW)
  • Abermaw Promenade, Abermaw, LL42 1NF (6 charging points 7kW, 2 charging points 22kW, 2 charging points 50kW)

In addition, charging points are also operational thanks to joint working with Transport for Wales on the following Council sites:

  • Y Grîn carpark, Y Bala, LL23 7NG (1 charging point 22kW, 1 charging point 50kW);
  • Carpark near Canolfan Hamdden Glaslyn, Porthmadog, LL49 9NU (2 charging points 22kW, 2 charging points 50kW);
  • Diffwys carpark, Blaenau Ffestiniog, LL41 3ES (2 charging points 22kW, 2 charging points 50kW);
  • Marian carpark, Dolgellau, LL40 1DL (2 charging points 22kW, 2 charging points 50kW).

Work is also in progress to install more charging points in locations in the areas of Bangor, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Dolgellau, Llanberis, Penygroes and Pwllheli over the coming months.

There are a variety of charging point types provided – 7kW (4hrs*), 22kW (2 – 3hrs*),50kW (40 minutes*), 150kW (15 minutes*). Details of electric vehicle charging point locations in Gwynedd and prices for using them are available on the ZapMap (opens in new tab) website (external website)
