Work on ten new business units at Eryri Business Park in Minffordd, near Penrhyndeudraeth, is nearing completion, creating modern, net zero premises for local businesses, and they’re invited to view the new units in an open morning.
The £3 million development has been delivered jointly by Cyngor Gwynedd and Welsh Government in direct response to the shortage of suitable business premises in the area and the demand expressed by local businesses.
Four new buildings will provide ten flexibly sized units ranging from 70m² to 100m², offering suitable premises for businesses looking to establish themselves or expand in the area.
The units will be net zero in terms of their energy use, with solar panels and air source heat pump systems installed. These features will help reduce energy costs for tenants while supporting the Council’s response to climate change.
To give businesses an opportunity to visit the site and view the new premises, an informal open morning will be held at Eryri Business Park later this month.
The session will take place between 8:30am and 11:30am on 29 September. Visitors will be able to view one of the units and speak to Cyngor Gwynedd officers about the project.
No appointment is required and businesses can drop in at any time during the session.

These new units are a practical response to the demand we have seen from businesses for suitable premises in this part of Gwynedd, and I am pleased to see them nearing completion.
By working with the Welsh Government, we have been able to invest in modern, flexible and energy-efficient spaces that can support businesses as they establish themselves or grow.
The open morning will give businesses an opportunity to look around, ask questions and consider whether one of the units could meet their needs. I look forward to seeing the development become home to a range of businesses and contribute to the local economy and community for years to come.”
The units will be let through a competitive process and managed by Cyngor Gwynedd’s Land & Property team.
