Cyngor Gwynedd is keen to hear the views of Gwynedd residents on how walking, wheeling and cycling can be made safer, easier and more accessible for all.

There are three main areas for consultation; walking, wheeling and cycling:

  • Walking - If you walk to work, school, the shops or simply for leisure. Help us make walking in Gwynedd safer, easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
  • Wheeling - If you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or other wheeled mobility aid, we want to hear your experiences. Are there any barriers you face, or improvements that could make travelling around Gwynedd more accessible and inclusive.
  • Cycling - Whether you cycle daily or occasionally, your feedback can help shape a better cycling infrastructure. Share your ideas on how we can create safer, more connected and appealing cycle routes for cyclists of all ages and abilities.

Councillor Craig ab Iago, Cyngor Gwynedd's Cabinet Member for the Environment, said:

If you walk, cycle or use a wheelchair to travel locally, we want to hear your views on what improvements can be made that would make it easier and more accessible for everyone.

This consultation is open to Gwynedd residents, businesses and community groups. Please take the opportunity to have your say in order to make walking, wheeling and cycling in Gwynedd safer, more convenient and welcoming."

All comments will be taken into account when developing and planning future improvements to Gwynedd's walking, wheeling and cycling network, where possible and practicable.
