Llŷn Coastal Festival will return in September 2026 with an exciting programme of activities and events designed to bring people together to discover, celebrate and connect with the shores of the Llŷn Peninsula.
Following a break, the festival returns with an opportunity for people of all ages to take part in a diverse range of activities that celebrate the area's historic and contemporary maritime heritage. Throughout the month, events will take place across the coastline, offering new and inspiring experiences for residents and visitors alike.
The festival will provide an opportunity to learn more about the significance of the coast through guided walks, talks and exhibitions, alongside conservation activities such as beach cleans and wildlife monitoring sessions.
The programme will also encourage people to get outdoors and enjoy the local environment in active ways. Events will include a cycling tour, a 10km run and a beginners' guided walk. For those interested in connecting with the coast through the arts, sea shanties and an art workshop will be among the festival's highlights.
The festival programme has been developed through collaboration with a wide range of local organisations, charities and businesses, creating a varied programme with something for everyone.
The festival will be launched with a Beach Clean event in Criccieth on 5 September and will conclude with Môr a Thonnau Pwllheli on 3 October.
