Changes to the Gwynedd Homebuy Scheme applcation process
The way the Gwynedd Homebuy Scheme works has changed. Applications are now managed directly by Cyngor Gwynedd.
This new arrangement follows the previous setup, where Tai Teg (opens in new tab) administered the scheme on behalf of the Council.
From 1 April 2026 onwards, anyone wishing to apply will need to do this through Cyngor Gwynedd. If you’ve started the process of buying a house through the Homebuy Scheme with Tai Teg, you do not need to do anything – you will continue with Tai Teg.
