We offer multiple payment methods for your convenience.
The Council Tax is to be paid monthly for ten months (unless other arrangements have been made).
You can choose from the following options:
Pay by Direct Debit
This is the easiest way of paying. You can choose to pay on the 5th, 15th, 21st, 28th of the month, or weekly - every Monday. To arrange a direct debit:
- Download direct debit form
(and return to the address noted on the form.) - to set up a direct debit over the phone or to amend details of your direct debit call us on (01286) 682700
(you will need your bank details at hand)
Online Payment
Pay securely using your debit or credit card through our online payment portal. You will need your council tax reference number and payment details to complete the transaction.
The payment must be made by the 1st of each month.
By Phone
You can pay by debit or credit card over the phone between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please have your council tax account number ready when calling.

Electronic billing
Help the environment by using less paper! You can now choose to receive your Council Tax bill by e-mail rather than through the post. More information.
