Council Tax Reduction

Council Tax Reduction is a reduction in your Council Tax bill based on:

- your income

- the size of your family

- other adults who live with you

- the amount of Council Tax you have to pay.

In general the lower your income the more your bill can be reduced by Council Tax Reduction, and if you qualify for the maximum reduction, you will receive a 100% reduction in your bill, which means that you will not have to pay any Council Tax.
