We aim to inform applicants of their application result within a fortnight of the closing date. We will acknowledge receipt of each grant application received.
Gwynedd Arts Support Grant
The objective of this fund is to support arts-based projects and organisations in Gwynedd, to continue their arts activities and programmes between May 2026 and March 2028.
How much is available? Grants of up to £7,500 are available
Closing date: 10am on 12 May 2026. Projects must be completed by 26 March, 2028.
The aim of the fund is to support projects that:
Provide Welsh language arts provision or opportunities (for example providing bilingual workshops, using Welsh in marketing and social media)
Explore how the arts can support health and wellbeing of the people of Gwynedd
Respond to the effects of climate change in Gwynedd
Share effective lessons and new ways of working with others in the arts sector in Gwynedd
Pilot alternative methods of conducting arts activity in Gwynedd
Experiment with technology and digital methods of working to benefit the arts sector in Gwynedd
Reach participants or audiences in an alternative and accessible manner
Raise awareness of the value of arts to the lives of people across Gwynedd
Ensure quality arts provision and experiences
Note: We include dance, visual art, literature, music, drama, film, photography and digital art within the ‘Arts’ term.
Monitoring
Please submit monitoring to claim first year payment before March 2027. Monitoring to claim second year’s payment to be submitted before March 2028.

Activities that have already taken place
Activities where full funding has already been secured

Then apply to the Night Out scheme run by the Community Touring Unit of The Arts Council of Wales in partnership with Cyngor Gwynedd. We can provide funding, advice, tickets and an up-to-date web site with details of companies and shows available.
