As a Council we publish an Annual Performance Report which explains in a clear and balanced way, what we have achieved during the previous year.
The departmental Challenging and Supporting the Performance meetings are held every other month, concentrating on the progress of the Cyngor Gwynedd Plan projects, performance of services (day-to-day work) and responding to the main risks on the Corporate Risk Register. The departments also report directly to the Scrutiny Committees on their performance in June and October.

The reports weigh up how we respond to the Cyngor Gwynedd Plan 2023-2028 and also gives an overview of the day-to-day performance. The self-assessment is also published on an annual basis as required under the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021 (opens in new tab)
Cyngor Gwynedd Self Assessment
The Priority Areas within the Annual Performance Report and Self-Assessment are our Well-being Objectives under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 (opens in new tab). The Objectives will directly contribute to achieving the seven national well-being goals.
Social Partnership Duty Annual Report
The Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023, which came into force on 1 April 2024, requires public bodies, including Cyngor Gwynedd, to produce an annual report to show how they have complied with the Social Partnership Duty established by the Social Partnership and Public Procurement Act.
