Who we are

What personal data is collected?
- Images and audio from the meeting (including participants and the audience).
- Names, job titles, and oral contributions.
- Additional information may appear in the background.
- To ensure transparency and public access to meetings.
- To comply with statutory requirements, including the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021.
Why do we process the data?
Legal basis
Article 6(1)(e) GDPR – Task in the public interest/the exercise of official authority.
How will the data be used?
- Live broadcast on the Council's website.
- Recordings are retained for six years before being deleted.
- The public through the broadcast.
- The providers of technical services (where required).
- Other companies that can re-use the information for their own purposes (including AI training).
