Cyngor Gwynedd welcomes filming projects of all kinds within the county.
It is your responsibility to check land ownership and to ensure that the correct permissions have been obtained before you take any professional or commercial photographs in Gwynedd.
Film and television producers must obtain the Council's permission if:
- they want to film and/or take photographs on Council land (for example, in a playground, in Council offices, in a park or along the coast for which the Council is responsible);
- they want to film and/or take photos on the highway or along the roadside;
- the work will prevent the public from using a public place (for example, a pavement or public footpath) in any way;
- if they want to use a drone over public land.
