We DO NOT accept:
Dirty glass

If you don't have a Cartgylchu or if you have extra re-cyclable waste you can use a traditional blue box.
You must separate items just like the cartgylchu.

We accept:
Any type of food waste, such as:
Cooked or raw meat and fish
Fruit and vegetable peelings
Cheese
Bread
Curry
Plate scraps
Gravy
Food passed its best before date
Tea bags.
We DO NOT accept:
Liquids such as milk or oil
Please use the bags provided to line the brown food waste bin.
Food waste bags for your kitchen caddy can be order by leaving a note on your food waste bin on your collection day, or collected from Siop Gwynedd.

Grass
Leaves
Twigs
Flowers / plants
Weeds
The waste should be loose in the bin / bags.
We DO NOT accept:
Mud / soil
Plastic bags / pots
Stones
Rubble
Dog fouling

We accept:
Any household waste that cannot be recycled
We DO NOT accept:
Electrical equipment: Please take them to your local recycling centre or arrange for a bulky waste collection
Builders waste: we don’t collect builders waste as part of the green waste
collection.
We will not collect any additional bags or side waste.

If you use nappies in your house you can apply for a nappy collection. A yellow sack will be left at the house each week on the collection day.

It is possible to arrange a clinical waste collection for any type of clinical waste, including medicine, dressings and needles.
This is arranged by your community nurse.
