Naming ceremonies

A naming ceremony is an option for anyone who doesn’t wish to hold a religious christening ceremony. These ceremonies do not have a legal status.

A registrar will hold the ceremony on your behalf, and you will receive a commemorative certificate.

It is possible to include your choice of readings and music in the ceremony. However, religious readings or music will not be allowed.
