Going on holiday during term time
We ask you to avoid going on holiday during term time if possible.
If you have to take your child out of school during term time, you will have to discuss and agree with your school.
Year 2025 / 2026:
Schools will re-open for teachers only on Monday, 1 September, 2025 (training day). Pupils will return on Tuesday, 2 September 2025.
There are 4 other training days to be taken by schools during 2025-26. Contact your local school for details.
