16+ maintenance allowance

To enable pupils to remain at school for full time education beyond the statutory school leaving age, the Welsh Assembly Government provides a maintenance allowance. The allowance is payable once a term, after half-term, subject to the receipt of a satisfactory report on attendance and progress.

Pre-school education

The Council has a statutory obligation to provide 10 hours a week part-time nursery education for 3 year olds in Gwynedd. 

 

Musical instruments

If your child receives instrumental lessons in the school, their tutor will provide an instrument for them.

The lessons are conducted by Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias - a voluntary organization that was established to facilitate the musical talents of children and young people.
