What is the Local Safeguarding Children Board?
The Board is responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Membership consists of managers from various local agencies who’s work involve promoting the welfare of children – for example the police, health board, education authority and many more. It is the responsibility of the Board to ensure that all the agencies work together and collaborate to ensure the highest standard of service for the children in Gwynedd.
