Be amazed at Bangor University’s Brambell Natural History Museum
Museums across Wales are getting ready to celebrate and promote Wales’ outstanding cultural offer at the second Welsh Museums Festival from 22-30 October.
Over 100 events and exhibitions will be on offer for the whole family from sleepovers, talks, walks, hunts and handling sessions to archaeologist digs, re-enactments, dressing up, tea parties and Halloween themed activities.
Bangor University’s Brambell Natural History Museum, will be open to the public on Wednesday afternoon 26 October for family activities as part of the festival. The theme of the day is ‘In the sea’ and puppet making workshops will be held with artist Menna Thomas as well as other activities such as a quiz and the opportunity to see and learn about specimens in the sea with student volunteers.
These activities are suitable for children six to 12 years old. Two sessions will be held, at 1pm – 3.30pm and 2pm– 4.30pm. Booking is essential by telephoning 01248 353368 or emailing email@example.com
