Have your say on Council priorities over next five years
Gwynedd Council is in the process of developing its plan for the coming years. The Council’s Plan will identify priorities and key areas to be implemented between 2018 and 2023.
Before adopting the Plan, the Council is eager to discuss with Gwynedd residents their views on the draft priorities and the projects it intends to implement from 2018/19 onwards.
Gwynedd Council’s Leader, Councillor Dyfrig Siencyn said: “We remain determined to deliver the best possible services for the people of Gwynedd despite the fact that we are continuing to face unprecedented funding cuts and ever increasing pressure on key services.
“The aim of this plan is to make sure that we focus our efforts and resources on the key issues likely to have the greatest impact on the people of Gwynedd.
“We are therefore eager to hear the views and opinions of local residents on the priorities. In order for us to have a full picture of the needs of our residents, we would urge any individual or organisation or community receiving a service from Gwynedd Council, to take the opportunity to have their say.”
The survey is in two parts, where members of the public can present views on county-wide priorities, on matters which have an effect across the county; along with matters which are more local to the specific area in which they live.
All comments submitted will be considered in detail before all members of the Council decide on the final Council Plan for 2018-23 in the new year.
Members of the public can have your say by completing a short questionnaire online at www.gwynedd.llyw.cymru/CouncilPlan - paper copies will also be available via your local library, leisure centre or Siop Gwynedd one-stop-shop. The consultation is open until 5 January 2018.
