AONB Llŷn Photography Competition Winners Announced
A ceremony was held at Oriel Tonnau, Pwllheli recently to award the winners of the AONB (Area of outstanding natural beauty) Llŷn’s photography competition winners.
Seven photographs made it to the shortlist, but the winner was Elen Griffith, with a photo of her daughter Nanw looking down towards Porth Colmon. The prize was a boat trip to Bardsey Island.
In second place was Eve Goodman, with a photograph of pebbles on Porth y Nant beach. She received a gift voucher to spend at Oriel Tonnau.
In joint third place were Phil Pownall who took a photo of the sunset at Trefor, and John Delap with a photograph of a Stonechat at Porth Neigwl. Their prizes were gift vouchers to spend at Caffi Meinir, Nant Gwrtheyrn.
Another three photos came close and were highly commended. These were a photo of Porth Neigwl by Dawn Jones, Cynaeafu (Harvesting) by Mared Jones and Porth Neigwl by John Delap.
