Open Doors Day at Storiel, Bangor

On Saturday 22 September Storiel, Bangor will be hosting an eventful open doors day.

As part of the Open Doors Festival this year, Storiel has been working with the U-Boats Project 1914-1918. There will be an opportunity for the public to share their stories and enjoy a lecture that has been organised especially by the Friends of Storiel regarding this fascinating project.

Dr Rita Singer, Community Engagement Officer for the project, will be available between 10:30 and 12:30 to discuss your stories and to talk more about the project and their findings between 13:00 and 14:00. The U-Boat Project exhibition is on display in Storiel until 6th October 2018.

Along with the above, the Beca Rising, Peter and Paul Davies exhibition will be launched between 2.00 - 4.00pm. Also for one day only additional work by Peter Davies, Paul Davies, Iwan Bala, Ivor Davies, Sara Rhoslyn Moore and Pete Telfer can be seen with a talk by the artists 11.30-12.30.

Ivor Davies will officially open the main exhibition at 2.30pm. The Beca Rising exhibition is open until 5 January.
