Porthmadog Town Centre Partnership – pocket map boost for town

Porthmadog Town Centre Partnership has been working tirelessly over recent months to produce a pocket map of the area which will be a useful tool for visitors and residents alike.

The map provides information about local restaurants, accommodation, cafes and pubs, as well as places of interest and general information.

Lynda Roberts, Chair of the Partnership said: “The partnership draws together businesses in Porthmadog with the aim of creating a prosperous and attractive town. As part of this work, the partnership has developed a simple but effective scheme they feel will be a great way of encouraging visitors to the area and those more local to the area to visit more locations and attractions in the area.”

Members of the Partnership will be distributing the maps to businesses in Porthmadog over the coming weeks so that they can be shared with visitors.  The aim is to produce a new map every year with advertising opportunities for businesses in the future.

The Porthmadog Town Centre Partnership has been supported by the Welsh Government, Gwynedd Council, Porthmadog Town Council and the Porthmadog Chamber of Trade.
