Barmouth flood alleviation scheme - drop-in event
Gwynedd Council is holding a public drop-in event at the Dragon Theatre in Barmouth on 25 March 2019 to explain the options available to manage flooding on the North Promenade area of the town.
The event, which will be open from 2pm to 7pm, will give members of the public and local business owners the opportunity to learn more about how flooding is likely affect this area of Barmouth now – and in the future. The event will also provide the chance for residents to voice their opinions about how this should be managed.
Councillor Gareth Griffith, Gwynedd Cabinet Member said:
"As well as the chance to discuss with relevant Gwynedd Council officers, members of the public will also be able to register for flood warnings with Natural Resources Wales, while are at the event.
"So, if you are keen to learn more about the work we will be doing, please take the time to come along and talk to our team over a cup of tea."
