YSGOL ARDUDWY – UPDATE

Following damage to the Ysgol Ardudwy buildings in Harlech during the recent storm, the arrangements to ensure that education continues for the pupils are progressing well. Year 10 and 11 pupils have today (12/3/18) started on their lessons in the old library building in Harlech and Coleg Meirion Dwyfor in Dolgellau.

From Wednesday onwards, Year 9 pupils who are working towards their end of Key Stage 3 assessment will be taught every day at the Dragon Theatre in Barmouth.

Year 7 and 8 pupils will attend lessons on alternate days on the Ysgol Eifionydd site in Porthmadog. The school will be sending full details to Year 7-9 pupils tomorrow.

The school will be setting work for Year 7 and 8 pupils for those days when they will not be in school.

Due to the damage, essential work to make the site safe and repair work, it will not be possible to re-open the school building until after the Easter holidays.
