Open Day with Herpetological Society at Bangor University's Brambell Natural History Museum

Date: 27/03/2018

Bangor University's Brambell Natural History Collection will be open to the public on Saturday, 14 April 2018 between 11:00 and 15:00.

There will be an opportunity to see the University's Natural History Museum, which isn't normally open to the public, in order to learn about the animals that can be seen there. There will be an opportunity to ask questions to the volunteers, and there will be a children's corner with activities to children of all ages.

This event is organised in partnership with the University's Herpetological Society. During the day there will be an opportunity to hold snakes and other live animals.

Making these collections more accessible is part of Storiel's partnership with Bangor University.  This event will give local people and visitors to the area a chance to enjoy  and learn from the artefact that are shown.

The Brambell building is located opposite ASDA in Bangor, a full map and details about the location can be found on Bangor's website.
