Gwynedd Council supports Scam Awareness Month
As part of National Scam Awareness Month, Gwynedd Council’s Trading Standards Unit will be staging drop-in sessions offering advice and providing valuable information on how to avoid falling foul of the numerous different scams.
The sessions held in partnership with the North Wales Police, will take place at Tyddyn Sachau Garden Centre, Y Ffôr near Pwllheli on Tuesday, 26 June between 12pm and 2pm, and at Fron Goch Garden Centre, near Caernarfon on Thursday 29 June also between 12pm and 2pm.
They will offer advice on the various types of scams, which include doorstep scams, telephone, mail, internet and identity fraud.
If you would just like some advice, or if you think that yourself, or possibly a relative or neighbour may have been, or are being scammed, why not pop in for a chat with one of the experienced officers.
