Artwork by young artists from Gwynedd and Anglesey
A new and exciting exhibition has opened at Storiel, Bangor which showcases the work of talented young artists from Gwynedd and Anglesey.
On display in the Criw Celf Gwynedd & Môn exhibition is artwork in various media which includes painting, ink and pencil, printing, weaving, glass, mixed media and more which were created in art masterclasses during January - June 2019.
Criw Celf is a fantastic scheme which develops the talent of children and young people in the field of art by offering masterclasses on weekends with professional artists.
These sessions introduce young artists to new techniques and enable them to gain confidence in their creative skills. As well as the technical aspect, it also provides an opportunity for members to make new friends in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Criw Celf had 73 members in Gwynedd and Anglesey this year from 12 primary schools, 16 secondary schools and one special school.
The Criw Celf Gwynedd & Môn exhibition will be on display at Storiel, Bangor until August 17.
Storiel is open Tuesday-Saturday – 11am – 5pm.
