Guided tours at Storiel over the summer
As part of the activities offered by Storiel over the summer holidays, there will be guided tours of the museum and gallery every Thursday.
The tours will be held by the Friends of Storiel, staff and volunteers at the Bangor-based museum and art gallery.
Along with more general talks about the Storiel collections, there will be some more specific tours that will concentrate on archaeological collections.
Every Thursday until mid-September at 2pm a tour will take place starting at Storiel’s reception desk and will last between half an hour to an hour. This is a unique chance to learn about Storiel’s collections by experts and following that enjoy tea and cake in the café for the special price of £4.95. There wil be no charge for the tours but a donation will be gratefully received.
The first tour will be led by the archaeologist Frances Llewelyn at 2pm on Thursday, 26 July.
