The mountain bike course was set up through a magnificent existing purpose built track with stunning scenery. The competition was fierce with all competitors looking to peddle their way victory.
Up first were the time trials where strong cyclists were identified and grouped to ability ready for the line finals. With all teams neck and neck to be winners it went down to the final line races to decide the champions!

Mountain biking is quickly becoming very popular in the north and south of the county, with over 250 Gwynedd students – the most ever - competing at Llanberis and Coed y Brenin to gain a place to represent their county at the final in Llanrwst.
Huge thanks to all partnerships involved in making this event a huge success again this year. Welsh Cycling, Outdoor Partnership and not forgetting the Gwynedd Sports for Life Team for providing an opportunity to secondary school students throughout Gwynedd.
