Diwyllesiant Fund

Cyngor Gwynedd is pleased to invite non-profit organisations (including social enterprises and event organisers) to submit proposals for support through the Diwyllesiant Fund.

The fund is closed to new applications.

What is the purpose of the Diwyllesiant Fund?

“To support the well-being and benefit of communities, the environment, and businesses in Gwynedd through culture activities (arts and heritage), leisure (sport, physical activity, health, and well-being), and events."

In support of the above, priority will be given to:

  • Supporting new activities or enabling organisations to deliver new services / or attract new audiences and beneficiaries.
  • Supporting activities across Gwynedd. Consideration will be given to ensuring that the fund reaches the whole of Gwynedd.

What is available?

  • Capital and/or revenue grants between £1,000.00 and £7,000.00.
  • Funding for projects/events that can be carried out between 1 April 2025 and 31 January 2026.

The fund is closed to new applications.

Funding offer letters will be sent out as soon as possible after week commencing 26 May 2025.

All projects must be completed by 31 January 2026.

It is important to follow the instructions carefully and ensure that your project aligns with the guidelines and criteria.

Before submitting your application, we encourage you to contact your Local Community Support Officer and/or an officer in the specific field you wish to apply to, to discuss your ideas and receive additional support in determining your project's eligibility.
